Athletics

In our inaugural year, our students kick-started our Archery Program with great enthusiasm and initiative. Our students practice throughout the year and travel to compete in regional and state tournaments.

In addition to our Archery Program, students at Chesterton Academy are welcome to participate in the athletic programs offered at their neighborhood high school. Chesterton Academy of St. Andrew maintains an Oregon State Athletic Association (OSAA) membership, which enables our students to have full access to high school sports.

Since the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, we encourage sports at every level and seek to form virtuous competitors with lifelong fitness habits.

Clubs & Activities

Chesterton Academy combines rigorous classical academics with a robust student life program centered on Catholic faith and community. Extracurriculars include Works of Mercy, Pro-Life initiatives, hobby clubs, and the unique House System, all aimed at forming young men and women into joyful saints.

Extracurricular activities hosted by a student’s neighborhood high school are also available to them. For example, we have had students who participate in orchestra at their neighborhood high school.
